About Us
Where Adventure Meets Legacy..
Dakota Cyclery is deeply woven into the origin and rise of the Maah Daah Hey Trail and the transformation of Medora into a nationally recognized cycling destination. What began as a passion for bikes became a decades-long commitment to building a cycling culture in North Dakota—and helping shape one of the most iconic singletrack trails in the United States.
Meet the Founders:
Loren and Jen Morlock

Jennifer and Loren Morlock are among the original pioneers of cycling in the Badlands and instrumental in shaping Medora’s identity as a premier outdoor destination. Their work spans trail advocacy, tourism development, event leadership, and decades of hands-on experience guiding riders through the Maah Daah Hey.
They didn’t just witness the trail’s creation—they helped build its story.
From riding the Badlands before the trail existed, to helping secure funding, to bringing national media attention to the region, their influence has helped transform the Maah Daah Hey Trail into a bucket-list ride for cyclists across the world.
Jennifer’s leadership on statewide trail initiatives and Loren’s lifelong dedication to cycling culture have made Dakota Cyclery a cornerstone of the Medora Badlands experience.
