 Dakota Cyclery has always been, and always will be, a family owned and operated organization. We established ourselves over 30 years ago to tend to all of the cycling needs of the local community. Thirty years later we find ourselves helping people from all over the world enjoy the beautiful and pristine wonders of mountain biking in North Dakota!

This is what we live for...
Since 1980, Loren, Jen and crew of Dakota Cyclery have not only sold bicycles, but have also shared our passion for bicycling through the promotion of group rides, races, and commuting. We are a major player when it comes to trail access and advocacy in North Dakota. Our love for the Badlands was cemented when we opened the shop in Medora in 1994 through the invitation of Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation. Our thanks go out to the U.S. Forest Service for creating the Maah Daah Hey Trail and to all those involved in its development and preservation.

Our staff is also our Family
At Dakota Cyclery we take our jobs seriously while still enjoying every second. Working together as a family we keep an interesting dynamic of love, respect, and hard work in our shop and on the trails. We have been doing this pretty much all of our lives and still find that we learn something new every day. Whether you need your ride fixed, or want an expert to show you around on the world famous Maah Daah Hey trail we have you covered. With some of the best mechanics and guides in the country we can take care of you no matter what you are looking for.
Through the 30 years of Dakota Cyclery, we have been fortunate to have some outstanding staff members-with many never leaving the bike industry. They too are part of the DC Family! I think it's time for a Reunion!!
